After a year off fundraising and running challenges, I'm back with a vengeance for 2017. Yet again I'm running two races, in aid of a fantastic cause.
On 23 April, after 10 years of waiting, I'm finally going to be running the London Marathon. Although it will be flatter than my last marathon (Mont Blanc), I am hoping to do it quite a bit faster, so it will be as much, if not more of a challenge.
Then, on 23 July, I am running the Snowdonia Trail Marathon - 26ish almost certainly wet miles over a massive hill.
In addition to beating my PB and enjoying the sights in two very different locations, my main goal is to raise as much money as possible for a fantastic charity, MQ.
MQ is a charity that funds crucial research into the nature, causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of mental illness. As you will be aware if you know me, or have read my blog (https://updownrunner.com), this is a cause that is very close to my heart, so please give generously.
